Works well, easy to use

Signed up for Innago. Used it for Online Rent Payments and Expense Tracking. Setup was quick. Payments came through on time. Mobile app is easy to navigate. Does what it says. No complaints.

Good value for property management

I was looking for a cost-effective way to manage my rentals, and Innago seemed like a good fit. I signed up for the free account and appreciated that many core features were included without extra cost. I used the Online Rent Payments and Lease Templates. The referral bonus was a nice touch too, effectively giving me a credit for future use. It felt like a solid deal overall for what I needed.

Good platform, could improve reporting

I used Innago recently for a new lease and collected the first month's rent. The Online Lease Signing worked well, and the Tenant Screening reports were detailed enough. Rent collection was smooth, no issues there. I liked having all the documents stored digitally. However, I found the Financial Reporting to be a little basic; I had to export data to get the level of detail I really wanted for tax purposes. It's mostly free which is great, but premium reporting would be a good upgrade. Overall, a good experience.

Consistent service, reliable platform

I've been using Innago for a while now, probably for about a year across several properties. This time I primarily used the Tenant Screening and Digital Signature features for a new tenant. Just like my previous experiences, everything worked smoothly. It's consistently reliable for rent collection and lease signing. I keep coming back because it just works without any fuss, which is exactly what I need.

Decent features, some minor issues

I decided to try Innago for my two rental units after hearing some good things. The initial setup for the Rental Applications and Property Listing Syndication was pretty straightforward, I got my listings out pretty quick. I also used their Tenant Communication Portal, which was helpful for quick messages. Delivery of rent payments was pretty standard, usually took 3-5 business days to hit my bank account after tenants paid. Customer support responded to a query about setting up automated late fees within a day, which was good. The mobile app for landlords is functional, but sometimes feels a little clunky on my older phone. Overall, it's a solid tool, but the mobile experience could be a bit smoother.

Does Innago have a mobile app? Or is it all just web-based?

J June Q. 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they have a mobile app for both landlords and tenants. I use it all the time on my phone.

There's an app for sure. Makes checking stuff on the go super easy.

I'm looking at Innago vs AppFolio. AppFolio feels a bit overkill for my small portfolio. Anyone use both and have a strong preference?

M Mike 3 weeks ago
I used AppFolio for a bit and it was way too much for my 5 units. Innago is much more straightforward and has everything I need without all the extra complexity.

AppFolio is definitely for bigger portfolios. Innago is great for smaller landlords, super easy to use, and you can't beat free.

How long does it usually take for rent payments to actually hit my bank account after a tenant pays? I'm in NYC if that matters.

D Derek 1 month ago
It's usually 3-5 business days for me, I'm in California. Not sure if NYC makes a difference but that's been my experience.

C Cody B. 1 month ago
Mine hit in about 4 days, usually. They say it can vary a bit depending on banks and stuff but it's pretty consistent.

I heard about some kind of sign-up bonus or referral program. How do I get that when I create an account?

F Faith 1 month ago
You usually need a referral link from an existing user to get a sign-up bonus. So ask around if anyone you know uses it already.

P Priya Vargas 1 month ago
Yeah, if you're signing up, try to find a referral link. That's how you usually get those account credits or gift cards. Otherwise, you might miss out.

Are there any discounts for premium features, like for the background checks? Or is it all just pay-as-you-go?

J June 3 weeks ago
I think sometimes they have trials for premium features when you sign up, but mostly it's pay per use for things like screening reports. They do have a referral bonus thing though if you get a friend to sign up.

S Steve Q. 2 weeks ago
Not really discounts on features directly, as far as I know. But if you get someone to sign up with your link, you both get some credit. That's kinda like a discount, right?

I have multiple units. Is there any kind of bulk discount for managing more properties or anything?

P Priya 1 month ago
Nah, it's free for landlords no matter how many units you have, so a bulk discount wouldn't really apply. It's just free.

A Amber K. 1 month ago
They don't really do 'discounts' for more units since the core platform is free for landlords. The value is just that it scales without costing you more.

hey, I'm thinking of switching to Innago but need to know if it's really free for landlords. Like, no hidden fees or anything?

D Derek C. 1 month ago
Yeah, it's actually free for landlords. They make their money from tenant fees, so you don't pay anything unless you opt into some premium stuff.

L Lisa A. 1 month ago
Totally free for me for years. The tenants pay a small fee for credit card payments or if they need to split payments, but I've never paid a dime. It's awesome.

Is Innago safe for rent payments? Like, are my bank details secure and all that?

B Ben 1 month ago
I've been using it for a couple years now, never had any issues. Seems pretty secure to me.

E Emma Torres 1 month ago
Yeah, I think they use pretty standard security for online payments. I haven't heard of any problems, and my tenants' payments always go through fine.
